South African producer The Militia has just released his first EP, collaborating with an array of artists from the US underground scene – most notably the legendary Reef The Lost Cauze who features in the video for New York Started It (the 2nd track on the EP). Check out the video below:

The project is a throwback to that golden-era, boom bap sound of mid-nineties New York rap, and a very promising introduction for this producer. Sample the rest of the EP below and grab your free download if you like what you hear.
