The Mozambican Producers Community was started as a facebook group initially to encourage producers to make beats using the same sample. This year, they got together and decided to make a beat-tape in homage to J Dilla. Each producer submitted a beat inspired by Dilla, and in just 3 weeks they had a full project.
I love the idea of a community where the producers all encourage and push each other on for the benefit of all involved.
