In other South African hip hop news; January 16th saw multiple high profile artists get nods for their efforts from the Metro FM Music Awards. Pro, Shugasmakx, Teargas, Zakwe & Khuli Chana will all compete for “The Best Hip Hop Album” while AKA & HHP also got recognition for their efforts in the form of singles.
